What is Sharkapalooza?

Sharkapalooza is an art-driven celebration of the oceans, showcasing the power of creativity to inspire awareness and conservation. At its core, Sharkapalooza brings together local artists who capture the beauty and complexity of sharks, marine life, and aquatic ecosystems in their work. By connecting art lovers, ocean enthusiasts, and conservation advocates, the event fosters a deeper appreciation for our blue planet.

Past Events

February 5, 2022 (81Bay Brewing Company, South Tampa): The inaugural Sharkapalooza introduced the community to a family-friendly, free-to-attend festival celebrating marine-themed art.
May 28, 2022 (81Bay Brewing Company, South Tampa): The second event continued the tradition, featuring a vibrant lineup of local artists and interactive elements for attendees.
October 14, 2023 (Aspirations Winery, Clearwater): The third Sharkapalooza partnered with Ocean Allies, raising funds for a local nonprofit dedicated to making our beaches and communities healthier for marine life.

Sharkapalooza 2025: Calling All Artists!

We’re excited to announce the return of Sharkapalooza, now heading to the Le Femme Institute in Palm Harbor, FL. Join us on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from noon to 6 PM for an unforgettable day dedicated to the oceans.

What to Expect at the 2025 Event:

A curated showcase of ocean and shark-inspired art by talented local artists.
A raffle supporting both a shark conservation nonprofit/local aquarium (TBD) and Le Femme Institute, with proceeds split 50/50 between conservation and the event’s operational costs.
Food trucks, beer/wine vendors, music, and more to create a fun, engaging atmosphere for all ages.

Important Information for Artists:

Table Fee: $35 per table (bring your own table and tent).
Raffle Donation: Each artist is asked to donate one piece of artwork to support our conservation and community goals.
Promotion: Your art will be featured in Sharkapalooza’s marketing efforts, providing exposure to a wide audience of art and ocean lovers.
